Becoming Parents – In Hospital Newborn Photography

“Honestly, Your photographs make me excited to be a mom.”

This is the line that made my breath catch for a beat, while reading through my email.  In subsequent emails, I discovered that not only was Layne incredibly thoughtful, but she was also hilarious. And then I got to discover that her husband was too when he popped out of the hospital room bathroom wearing a vest and tie and holding a matching onesie for their newborn, much to Layne’s and my surprise.

What a delight to photograph this family in the hospital, less than 24 hours after welcoming their first baby into the world.
